Driving is Scary Fun

I already know how to drive an automatic car, i've driven the family minivan numerous times now.  I'm scheduled for my driving test January 5th which is scary because its only a week away.  I don't want to take the test in a minivan but my dad's car is stick shift and i don't know how to drive it.  Well i'm planning on borrowing my uncle's car for the test but he's unreliable so my mom wanted me to learn how to drive my dad's car.  Yesterday we went out in a parking lot and I had to drive it.  It's not that hard but theres the clutch and the brake and to start the car in first gear you have to let go of the clutch and accelerate at the same time.  I stalled out the car a lot.  I couldn't get it after like 5 tries but then I started again and finally got it! Once you get into first gear its fine.  But stopping, you have to use the clutch again and i stalled out the car.  Oh well, I think after a couple of days I can get it. 

I Had A Nice X-Mas

My Christmas was nice.  I know you're probably wondering what I got for Christmas so I will tell you.  I got an iPod touch, a sports bag, Glee Season 1 on DVD, clothes, CDs, money, and gift cards.  It was nice.  My family starts off Christmas Eve by wrapping presents and then going to mass.  We had to go to 3:00 mass this year because my mom's family Christmas Eve Party started at 5.  After mass we went up to my great aunt and uncle's house.  There was so much food! We had Carraba's and there was chicken with this really good sauce and really good bread.  I played card games with my cousins which was fun/awkward because I hardly ever see them.  We left around 11:30 because Santa was coming!! Yay Santa.  I went to sleep but as you know it's always really hard to fall asleep on Christmas Eve.  But eventually I fell asleep and at 9 am Eric came in my room and turned the lights on so I had to wake up.  I went upstairs and saw the presents and that's my favorite part of Christmas (I know it's horrible I only care about the gifts but that's what it's come to) and we opened our stuff and ate breakfast.  Then we went to my grandparents' house for the family present opening.  My grandparents always give the best stuff becuase they've got money.  I played with my two young cousins who are 3 and 5.  Then we left to go home and get ready for another family party.  I got to drive there and the whole time my parents were freaking out.  Why do parents get so scared when teenagers drive? If they make us stressed it's not going to help us on the road.  Anyways so we went there but it wasn't that fun so it's not important.  We went home and went to bed.  Overall it was a nice Christmas.  I enjoy Christmas.

Actually they haven't but I can't think of one right now.  I just wanted to talk about my life.  Me me me.  Greedy!  Ok fine how are you? Good? Good.  It's the eve of Christmas Eve so Happy Christmas Eve Eve! I was watching Star Wars last night with my brothers and I noticed that it is the most complicated movie series ever.  First off it starts with 4 so you have no clue what's going on... well you do but you don't understand.  Also there is a war and you don't know why there is a war going on.  Top 10 Reasons Star Wars is Confusing
1. There is a war and we don't know why there is a war
2. It starts with 4 not 1
3. What did Han Solo do that was so bad?
4. Why is Boba Fett so important
5. If its a long long time ago why is it so futuristic
6. How did people get the evidence that this really happened (it is based on a true story right)
7. Um I can't think of anything else so

Those last three didn't count but they rhyme so yay!!!!!! Also my arms are really sore.  Merry Christmas Eve Eve!!!!!

Christmas Break

It is finally Christmas Break.  Those last 2 days were nightmarish.  Yesterday I went to school, had the read through for A Midsummer Night's Dream, and had swim practice.  Today I went to school, had the second read through, and have a swim meet.  But no school tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love Christmas because you get two weeks off of school instead of Thanksgiving break which is 3 days and spring break which is 1 week and fall break which was 4 days.  Wow we have too many breaks.  I am not complaining but compared to European schools we barely go to school.  Well Europeans are dumb so it doesn't matter.
In other news I am in A Midsummer Night's Dream which is awesome because I'm the wall aka Snout and if you've read it you'll understand these peeps.  It's fun so far.  But we still have a whiles to go.
How come in England and other English speaking places (discluding Canada because I don't know anything about Canada) they say Happy Christmas and we say Merry Christmas?  I like Merry Christmas because we say 'Happy' for everything: Happy Independence Day, Happy Easter, Happy Thanksgiving, Happy Flag Day, Happy Arbor Day, Happy May Day etc. Is it because we prefer the old English version rather than the newer version? And if so then wouldn't it be the other way around.  This is really bugging me so i'm going to  look it up.  BRB. Ok so chacha says it's because Queen Elizabeth says Merry means drunk so they choose to say happy instead.  But there was this thing and people said "Hey I'm British and say Merry Christmas" so maybe it's a stereotypical thing.  Whatever.  Merry Christmas Happy Christmas.  Whatever floats your boat.

Buche de Noel

Yesterday was my second swim meet.  Swimming is so fun! I am really glad that i started doing it.  Today, my mom had some of her french students over to help her make the bouche de noel.  It was fun and messy! I can't wait till block day to eat it.  Thankfully block day is on Tuesday so yeah.  OMG IT'S SNOWING!!! I really want a snow day tomorrow.  I love snow days becasue they're so lazy and also because i didn't finish my homework yet so don't want to do it.  I still have so much homework that i should probably do some of in in case we do have school tomorrow but looking outside it's already like 2 inches or something.  YAY! I'll keep posted.  LUVS YA!!

Friday!!!

TGIF if you knows what I mean and I think you do. High School is tough but fun.  Like all the classes are annoying with homework but seeing my awesome friends every day makes it all worth it.  Here's a shout out from my brother Adam:

Welcome to TheFuzzySocks day 1 of (hopefully) many days to come of wonderful blogginess.  Welcome to my blog.  Is this called a blogsite? I think that's what it should be called because it's a very fun way to say blog page or blog website.  Blogsite.  I'm going to start using that.  You can't stop me! Mwahahahahaaaaa! Hehe this is fun I can see why people post blogs and stuff.  Well here are my hopes and dreams for this blog:
1. To make it to the big list of blogs with all those famous bloggers (another fun word)
2. To be the place for people to go to to read my mind.  It's an online journal so really anyone could get their hands on my thoughts and use this to control my brain... Ahhhhh scary thought.
