Sticky Tack

So do they still make sticky tack?  I remember they did like 3 years ago.  I checked like 3 stores for sticky tack.  I checked K-Mart, Target, and the dollar store.  I looked in the office supply section assuming it would be there because logically that is where it should be.  I looked next to tape, glue, and regular tacks.  I really need sticky tack!!!! The reason being because I like to hang stuff up on my wall and i use masking tape which is a huge hassle because I have to rip off the tape and fold it into that little double sided thing.  It irks me.  You know what I am going to google this: Okay so I checked the almighty google for my answer.  I can only buy it on amazon.com or at staples or office max.  So specialty office supply stores.  Well this answers my question.  Now I am off! Actually it'll be a while because I have stuff to do before I go out and about.   Later peeps

Anna and the French Kiss

Well, I know what you're thinking.  "Gosh Caroline why are you reading a book like that it sounds super inappropriate?" Well you are wrong! HA! It is not inappropriate well at least for a young adult book it's not bad.  Anna and the French Kiss is written by Stephanie Perkins.  You can visit her website here.  It's her first book and it's awesome.  Not only because it takes place in Paris the most amazing city in the world, but because it's about romance, food, friendship, movies, parents(family), ummm and other things...
So here's a synopsis of this lovely book.  Anna is a senior, but instead of spending her last year with her best friend Bridgette and her crush her parents send her off to boarding school in Paris.  Anna hates the idea because she's leaving behind everything she's ever known, and she doesn't even know how to speak French.  She starts crying in her tiny room once her parents leave and then her neighbor Meredith comes over to talk to her.  They end up talking for a few hours.  Meredith promises it will be better and she'll learn to love to love school.  In the hallway she literally runs into Etienne St. Clair.  Who is attractive but she learns he has a girlfriend.  Boo right.  Etienne or St. Clair as everyone calls him is this great guy who is French and American but grew up in England so he has a British accent.  He and Anna become best friends but secretly Anna wishes it could be something more.  To find out more about Anna and to see if she ever gets her French kiss read Anna and the French Kiss.
I really liked this book.  I went to France last year so when she talks about going to all these places i got really excited.  Plus there is a lot of talk about French food!!!!! This is the best kind of food especially crepes.  Which are good.  Other than the French aspects of the book I liked the characters they seemed really real, if not a little fake with their problems.  Also deep down I'm a sucker for books about girls who like a guy but the guy doesn't realize it.  They're my weakness.  So because the book mainly takes place in Paris and it has an awesome story plot line i give this book a 9 out of 10 on the Caroline Scale of Book Awesomeness.  I would give it a 10 only if it was deeper than it was.  It was a book that was on the lighter side of life.  I recommend this book to anyone who likes France or just wants a good book to read.  :) Caroline

Beanie Babies

Ok so I watch youtube videos by http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UK2YNYdcSss&feature=feedu and Christine Riccio is a fast talking funny person.  She made a video regarding beanie babies.  Who doesn't remember beanie babies?  I was still a little young when they first came out so I wasn't always careful with my beanie babies.  I would actually take the tags off! Oh the horror.  Now they are worth nothing.
After watching her video, I went upstairs and got out my beanie babies.  I thought I had more than what was in the bag... Whatever.  In the video, she said Bears are the most rare and are worth the most. I never liked the bears.  I thought they were tacky and not cool like the real animals.  I remember they made birthday bears and those were cool.  Well that's all I really have to say on the matter.  Beanie Babies were awesome and trump webkinz any day.

New Ideas: Books

Okay, so it's now the summertime and during the summer I read a lot.  We've only been out of school for 3 days and I've read about 3 books... I just love reading and (I don't mean to brag) and I'm pretty gosh darn good at reading.  The most recent book that I finished and loved was One Night That Changes Everything by Lauren Barnholdt.  The story is about a girl named Eliza who writes all her fears in a purple notebooks.  One day she can't find her notebook.  She gets a call from her ex boyfriend, Cooper who during their relationship was lying to her, so she posted that he cheated on his math test on the website her popular sister made up lanesborolosers.com.  He tells her to meet her in Boston at a club.  She reluctantly goes and woe behold Cooper is there and tells her that the notoriously bad club with a reputation, the 318s, and they have her notebook.  As the night progresses she is forced to complete all the things she feared like dancing with the hottest guy in the club, and singing karaoke at a coffee shop just to get her notebook back.  She leans a lot throughout the night and it's amazing how Eliza's relationship with her two best friends stays strong the entire night (they pull an all nighter just saying).  Also she learns that maybe those fears aren't that bad.

I loved the book.  The whole time when I read the book I was into it.  There is a lot of drama, but it stays humorous from her funny southern friend Clarice to her relationship with Cooper.  I would like to see this book get made into a movie because it's something teenage girls with they could go through.  I know I wish it could happen to me.  Hmm maybe I'll start my own purple notebook of fears.  It's a start anyways.  On the Caroline Scale of Book Awesomness I give One Night That Changes Everything a 7 out of 10 because it's a bit unbelievable but it's still a really cute romantic book.  I recommend this book to all teenage girls out there who wanna have fun.  :) Caroline
